Job Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in back of house management
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and health regulations
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Physical ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a BOH manager or similar role in a high volume restaurant
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and Health Department standards
  • Experience with inventory management and cost control
  • Ability to communicate clearly with staff and management
  • Culinary background or education preferred
  • Commitment to excellence and positive attitude

Job Duties

  • Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of all food products in accordance with Health Department standards
  • Communicate effectively with BOH staff and provide staff with comprehensive directions to carry out tasks
  • Ensure adherence to recipes
  • Excel in portion control and presentation of all menu items in accordance with company standards
  • Communicate effectively with management team and maintenance department on repair issues
  • Have working knowledge of inventory, cost control, purchasing, and receiving of product
  • Develop restaurant menus and specials
  • Maintain clean and organized kitchen at all times
