Job Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience in back of house management
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of food safety and health regulations
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
- Physical ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
Job Qualifications
- Proven experience as a BOH manager or similar role in a high volume restaurant
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and Health Department standards
- Experience with inventory management and cost control
- Ability to communicate clearly with staff and management
- Culinary background or education preferred
- Commitment to excellence and positive attitude
Job Duties
- Ensure proper handling, storage, and rotation of all food products in accordance with Health Department standards
- Communicate effectively with BOH staff and provide staff with comprehensive directions to carry out tasks
- Ensure adherence to recipes
- Excel in portion control and presentation of all menu items in accordance with company standards
- Communicate effectively with management team and maintenance department on repair issues
- Have working knowledge of inventory, cost control, purchasing, and receiving of product
- Develop restaurant menus and specials
- Maintain clean and organized kitchen at all times
