Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a full-service restaurant general manager
  • Proven success in revenue generation
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong organizational skills and leadership abilities
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to manage cash handling and payroll
  • Excellent communication skills in the predominant language of the restaurant
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to make employment decisions

Job Qualifications

  • 5 plus years experience as a full-service restaurant general manager
  • Proven history of revenue generation
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of restaurant policies, food safety, sanitation, and labor regulations
  • Experience in front-of-house operations or assistant management roles
  • Basic math skills and POS system operation
  • Ability to develop and implement staff training programs
  • Ability to plan and execute marketing and promotional activities
  • Physical ability to work long standing hours and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Minimum age of 21 years

Job Duties

  • Work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet business demands
  • Understand and implement all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, and training programs
  • Ensure guests receive responsive, friendly, and courteous service
  • Maintain consistent food preparation and service according to restaurant standards
  • Achieve company objectives in sales, service, quality, and cleanliness by training employees and creating a positive work environment
  • Control cash handling and reconciliation following restaurant policies
  • Make employment and termination decisions
  • Fill in as necessary to ensure efficient operations
  • Develop staff through managerial and professional development
  • Prepare required paperwork including reports and schedules timely
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper working condition of equipment
  • Oversee receiving and delivery processes to ensure accuracy
  • Conduct timely employee performance appraisals
  • Schedule labor effectively to meet business needs and labor cost goals
  • Administer personnel policies and corrective actions consistently
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and labor regulations
  • Develop and implement marketing and promotional campaigns
  • Communicate effectively within the restaurant's primary language
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of food and beverage service and front-of-house management
  • Possess basic math skills and ability to operate cash register or POS
  • Maintain physical stamina including standing long hours and lifting up to 50 pounds.
