Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 12 months commercial driving experience
- Valid CDL-A license
- Must be 21 years or older
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements
- Clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
- Pass road test
- Attain or have valid current DOT Health Card
- Able to hand-lift and use equipment for moving product cases weighing from 10 to approximately 90 pounds
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid CDL-A license
- Minimum 12 months of commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass road test and maintain clean motor vehicle report for past 3 years
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Ability to hand-lift and utilize equipment to move product cases weighing 10 to 90 pounds
- Attain or possess valid current DOT Health Card
- Experience with foodservice distribution preferred
- Familiarity with onboard computers and electronic logging devices such as PeopleNet preferred
- Customer service-related work experience preferred
Job Duties
- Drive tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver food products
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections of vehicle and trailer
- Load and unload freight accurately and securely
- Complete all required paperwork including delivery receipts and logbooks
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers
- Follow all Department of Transportation regulations and company safety policies
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of tractor, trailer, and loading areas
