Job Requirements

  • Experience in bread baking, especially overnight baking
  • Ability to mix, shape, and bake artisan breads
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work overnight shifts starting around 10:00 PM
  • Familiarity with commercial baking equipment
  • Knowledge of food safety practices
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment
  • Must pass E-Verify for employment

Job Duties

  • Assist baker team in all levels of project execution including planning, production, clean-up
  • Properly time and prepare mixes for production to ensure continuous flow of operations from raw materials to depositing, baking, and packing
  • Mix dough accurately according to recipes
  • Shape bread consistently to maintain product quality
  • Operate and maintain commercial bakery equipment such as spiral mixers, convection ovens, deck ovens, proffers, retarders, and dough dividers
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards
  • Coordinate with team members to meet production deadlines
