Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two years bartending experience
  • Prior bartending experience with knowledge of wine, beer and spirits
  • Ability to stand for most of shift
  • Ability to pull and lift up to 15 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 40 pounds
  • Ability to kneel, crouch, bend, reach overhead and walk
  • Must work weekends, holidays and evenings as required
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Adhere to grooming and appearance standards
  • Comply with employee handbook policies
  • Show courteous and professional behavior
  • Attend pre-meal meetings when requested

Job Qualifications

  • Ability to interact professionally and courteously with members and guests

Job Duties

  • Have complete product knowledge and offer suggestions to enhance guest experience
  • Perform assigned side work
  • Stock bar with liquor, beer, wine, champagne, mixers, ice, fruits and vegetables
  • Set up bar with proper glassware and necessary tools
  • Maintain bar inventory throughout shift
  • Provide immediate attention to members and guests upon seating
  • Take members and guests orders and make suggestions
  • Assemble and serve drinks
  • Verify bill accuracy and handle account charges as per procedures
  • Keep tables and bar clean and tidy
  • Advise supervisor of complaints immediately
  • Perform clean up and closing duties assigned by manager
  • Attend pre-meal meetings as requested
  • Offer assistance in dining room during idle time with cocktail orders, wine-opening, clearing, resetting tables
