Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Two years bartending experience
Prior bartending experience with knowledge of wine, beer and spirits
Ability to stand for most of shift
Ability to pull and lift up to 15 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 40 pounds
Ability to kneel, crouch, bend, reach overhead and walk
Must work weekends, holidays and evenings as required
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
Adhere to grooming and appearance standards
Comply with employee handbook policies
Show courteous and professional behavior
Attend pre-meal meetings when requested

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Excellent oral communication skills
Positive interpersonal and customer service skills
Strong communication and cooperative skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to interact professionally and courteously with members and guests
Prior bartending experience
Knowledge of wine, beer and spirits
Two years bartending experience

Job Duties

Have complete product knowledge and offer suggestions to enhance guest experience
Perform assigned side work
Stock bar with liquor, beer, wine, champagne, mixers, ice, fruits and vegetables
Set up bar with proper glassware and necessary tools
Maintain bar inventory throughout shift
Provide immediate attention to members and guests upon seating
Take members and guests orders and make suggestions
Assemble and serve drinks
Verify bill accuracy and handle account charges as per procedures
Keep tables and bar clean and tidy
Advise supervisor of complaints immediately
Perform clean up and closing duties assigned by manager
Attend pre-meal meetings as requested
Offer assistance in dining room during idle time with cocktail orders, wine-opening, clearing, resetting tables
