Job Requirements
- At least 18 years of age
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, lifting up to 30 pounds frequently and heavier items with assistance
- Ability to work in an indoor environment with exposure to temperature extremes from freezers, ovens, and coolers
- Ability to work around cleaning agents
- Availability to maintain regular full attendance
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a bakery or customer service oriented environment preferred
- Knowledge of bakery products preferred
- At least 18 years of age
Job Duties
- Answer questions and recommend bakery items
- Answer member calls and take special orders
- Proof and bake all unfinished bakery goods following product handling instructions using ovens and equipment
- Use bakery production charts as guides for production and display
- Gather products for the next business day
- Package freshly baked goods including cookies, Danish pastries, muffins, rolls, breads, pies, cakes, and other items
- Decorate special order or case products
- Rotate and store bakery products following food safety, freshness, and handling policies
- Receive, inspect, and store bakery shipments
- Ensure all products are fresh and meet company quality standards
- Check for out-of-date products and follow salvage and stale product procedures
- Generate labels and price tickets for bakery goods
- Perform price check functions as necessary
- Clean and sanitize equipment, display fixtures, and food surfaces in the bakery
- Operate bakery equipment using proper work methods according to safety policies
- Maintain club policies and procedures
- Perform other duties including working in other departments as needed
- Maintain regular, predictable, full attendance
