Job Requirements
- Must have a solid work history with 1 or more years at previous employers
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly and maneuver bulky racks
- Flexible scheduling based on business demands
- Must uphold the company’s core values
- Required to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach and perform frequent handling activities
- Maintain cooking line clean and safe
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 6 months experience in the food service industry preferred
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced kitchen
- Passion for cooking with attention to freshness, quality and cleanliness
- Desire to work as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail in food presentation
- Flexible to work a variety of shifts
- Positive and reliable work ethic
Job Duties
- Communicate orders and information between front of house and back of house
- Ensure orders are cooked timely so all orders for a table are ready simultaneously
- Make sure servers and food runners deliver food while warm and ready
- Maintain clean, sanitary, and safe cooking line
- Assist team members as needed
- Monitor plate presentation ensuring it is dressed, garnished, and free from spills
- Perform additional duties as assigned
