Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be available to work nights, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by business needs
- Must be able to perform the essential physical functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be able to perform physical activities such as standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching with hands and arms, and using fingers and wrists for extended periods (up to 8-10 hours per shift)
- Must be able to communicate effectively, including speaking and hearing in a busy kitchen environment
- Must be able to lift and transport up to 50 pounds on occasion
- Must be able to tolerate and work in various kitchen environments, including high temperatures and humidity near cooking equipment, cold conditions in walk-in coolers and freezers, and noisy, fast-paced environments with frequent interruptions
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of experience in a high-end fine dining environment, Michelin star experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of service standards and dining etiquette with a natural ability to lead by example
- Excellent guest interaction, problem-solving, and communication skills
- A high level of personal grooming, poise, and professionalism
- A commitment to excellence, integrity, and continuous learning
Job Duties
- Manage and prioritize incoming food tickets to keep service flowing smoothly
- Inspect each dish for accuracy, temperature, presentation, and dietary or allergy modifications
- Communicate clearly with chefs, servers, runners, and managers
- Organize plates and garnishes so orders are complete and cohesive
- Monitor orders and timing cues to maintain pacing during service
- Ensure allergy alerts and special requests are handled correctly
- Maintain a clean, organized expo line and pass
- Assist with running food as needed
- Support the team with closing duties and shift prep
