Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience planning Major Command-level or equivalent exercises
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Familiarity with operational and logistical support for exercises, deployments, and mobilizations
- Working knowledge of force structure, country locations, and assigned assets
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven leadership and teamwork
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage competing priorities
Job Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI security clearance

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new planning tools
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced settings
Job Duties
- Plan, organize, and manage exercises throughout the Joint Exercise Life Cycle (JELC), including concept development, execution, and after-action review
- Develop exercise objectives, coordinate logistics for planning meetings, conferences, and events, and manage associated documentation
- Estimate costs and manage funding within assigned budgets
- Engage with service components, partner nations, and other agencies to ensure cohesive, effective execution
- Provide direction, assistance, and training to exercise participants and planners
- Analyze planning effectiveness and outcomes as part of after-action reporting and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify and resolve issues across the exercise lifecycle
- develop and brief Courses of Action (COAs) as needed
- Maintain understanding of inter-country customs and courtesies relevant to exercise participation
- Account for current and projected roles, responsibilities, and capabilities when developing exercise designs
- Coordinate with DoD, Combatant Commands, Services, and Intelligence Agencies as required
- Utilize Microsoft Office and emerging planning tools
- demonstrate baseline familiarity with AI/ML/LLM applications
