Job Requirements

  • access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues

Job Duties

  • Drive total store sales and understand department contributions to profitability
  • manage food & beverage, food services, inbound, outbound, replenishment, inventory accuracy, presentation, pricing and promotional signing in all general merchandise areas
  • manage a team of operations experts focusing on accuracy and efficiency
  • lead pick, pack and ship fulfillment work if applicable
  • develop strategies and utilize workload planning tools to ensure guest readiness
  • conduct regular check-ins with team to ensure task completion
  • manage backroom and sales floor areas and review reports to identify and resolve gaps
  • oversee workload planning for GM Team Leaders including transitions, revisions, and sales plans
  • drive fulfillment sales by leading the fulfillment team to fulfill orders accurately and efficiently
  • promote a culture centered on food safety and train the team accordingly
  • lead efficient operations to support sales culture
  • oversee Food & Beverage Team Leaders' workload planning including sampling and promotions
  • create a guest-obsessed culture prioritizing guest experience and store sales goals
  • assess competition and leverage guest insights to drive business
  • work a schedule aligned with guest and business needs including early, evening, overnight and weekend shifts
  • ensure consistent guest experience by maintaining stock, freshness, availability, accuracy of pricing and signage
  • evaluate backroom and sales floor priority areas and develop plans to address gaps
  • plan, lead and follow-up on organizational and operational changes
  • anticipate and identify changes in store trends
  • coach and develop team skills and expertise
  • establish a culture of accountability through clear expectations and performance management
  • develop, coach, train, and recruit team members
  • provide service and a shopping experience that meets guest needs
  • maintain a culture of ethical conduct, safety and compliance
  • adhere to all safety and secure training and processes
  • address store needs such as emergencies and regulatory visits
  • perform other duties as required based on business needs
