Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Serv-safe certification
- 2-3 years experience as Food Production Manager or Executive Steward
- ability to work flexible event-based schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays
- proficiency in software applications such as Microsoft Office, Word and Excel
- strong communication and teamwork skills

- ability to work event-based schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays
- proficient in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel

Job Duties
- Directs, implements and maintains a service and management philosophy for staff
- assists with attainment of departmental and organizational goals
- oversees food distribution from production to service areas
- maintains vendor relationships
- manages inventory controls
- ensures compliance with cleanliness standards
- ensures catering equipment is cleaned, dried and staged for next event
- stocks and secures equipment par levels in kitchens
- works with Ecolab and Warehouse Manager to manage cleaning chemical inventory
- supervises distribution and stewarding teams to ensure safe work practices
- creates monthly staff training modules based on Serv-safe
- verifies accuracy of stewarding employee time and attendance
- coordinates weekly schedules with Executive Chef
- creates catering pull sheets based on Banquet Event Orders
- develops standard operating procedures manual for stewarding department
- helps develop food safety, sanitation, and HACCP programs
- ensures accurate month-end chemical and cleaning supply inventories
- coordinates monthly staff meetings including food safety and sustainability training
- creates communication channels for employee suggestions
- serves as a member of the safety team to ensure facility safety
