Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in stewarding supervisory or related role
  • Valid food safety certification such as ServSafe
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and cleanliness
  • Proactive attitude with excellent leadership and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in stewarding or sanitation management preferably in a hospitality or country club setting
  • Knowledge of sanitation safety and health regulations including HACCP ServSafe standards
  • Proven leadership skills with experience in team supervision and staff development
  • Strong organizational budget and inventory management abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to conduct detailed inspections and enforce compliance
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Direct and supervise stewarding department team including hiring training coaching scheduling and performance evaluations
  • Develop implement and monitor sanitation and safety standards in accordance with local state federal regulations and industry best practices such as HACCP and ServSafe
  • Oversee cleaning maintenance and proper storage of all kitchen equipment utensils and service ware
  • Manage departmental budgets oversee inventory levels and negotiate with vendors for supplies and equipment maintenance
  • Conduct regular inspections of kitchen dining and service areas to ensure cleanliness safety and quality standards
  • Foster a positive work environment through leadership mentoring and ongoing training programs
  • Develop review and enforce operational policies and procedures to ensure consistency safety and efficiency
  • Work closely with culinary service and management teams to coordinate activities support special events and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Ensure all health safety and sanitation policies are strictly followed and maintained
