- Minimum three years experience in stewarding role in hotel with fine dining
- Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English

Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree
- Minimum three years experience as assistant chief steward in hotels with similar style and standards
- Fine dining experience
- Strong knowledge of chemicals and dish machines
- Passion to succeed
- Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to train and supervise staff
- Knowledge of safety and sanitation regulations
- Competent in computer usage with moderate to advanced skills
Job Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of entire property, including restaurants, room services, and banquet
- Ensure food delivery to designated areas before function start times
- Fulfill equipment requisitions for banquet front of house staff
- Conduct training for stewarding supervisors and stewards on job responsibilities
- Maintain knowledge of correct maintenance and safe use of equipment
- Conduct regular inventory checks of china, glassware, silverware, and chemicals to manage par levels
- Assist guests and employees by addressing needs and inquiries
- Comply with state sanitation and health regulations and hotel requirements
- Meet with executive chef regarding kitchen equipment needs and business levels
- Communicate effectively with team using positive and outgoing behavior
- Create and update equipment pull sheets for efficient service
- Maximize productivity and hold staff accountable
- Develop relationships with equipment vendors
- Ensure requisitions are processed and placed in designated areas
- Complete opening duties including inspecting tools, equipment, and supplies
- Maintain proper storage procedures per health department standards
- Minimize breakage of china and glassware
- Communicate issues or requests with management and service staff
- Ensure kitchen equipment maintenance and functionality
- Manage department staffing and conduct interviews
- Create stewarding team schedules
