Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum two years of experience in stewarding or related operations
  • Knowledge of HACCP and OSHA regulations
  • Experience in chemical safety and hazardous materials management
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent organizational abilities
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work hands-on and supervise multiple shifts
  • Proficiency in digital inventory and scheduling tools
  • Availability to coordinate with multiple departments and external agencies

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Culinary education preferred
  • Relevant certifications as required to comply with local and state regulations
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, OSHA, local health organizations and sustainability practices
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Data-driven decision making and performance tracking
  • Conflict resolution and change management capabilities
  • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability in diverse team environments
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role or capacity
  • Preferably experienced in managing food and hygiene standards across various types of kitchens and restaurants
  • Previous leadership experience in a similar role or strong operations background in hotel, resort or casino setting will be highly regarded
  • Prior experience working with local hygiene authorities, either through direct contact or previous employment, is an advantage

Job Duties

  • Oversees cleanliness and hygiene in all stewarding areas, ensuring compliance with HACCP, OSHA and local health regulations
  • Knowledgeable about MSDS, expertise in chemical safety, regulatory compliance, and hazardous materials management
  • Responsible for training all teams on chemical cleaning requirements
  • Work hands on with the stewarding team across all shifts to ensure performance consistency
  • Implement and monitor the Food Safety Management System (FSMS), including hazard analysis, critical control points, and verification procedures
  • Conduct daily inspections of kitchens, restaurants, and food storage areas to ensure food safety standards are upheld
  • Ensure that all food and beverage outlets are supplied with appropriate equipment as required to support smooth operations
