Job Requirements

  • Associate degree or equivalent training in culinary arts or hospitality management
  • Minimum of five years experience in a lead culinary position within sports and entertainment or premium stadium catering
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and communication tools
  • Strong leadership and team development capabilities
  • Willingness to live near or relocate to Winston Salem, NC
  • Ability to consistently produce quality culinary products in a high-volume environment
  • Excellent communication and listening skills
  • Business ownership mindset and operational management ability
  • Physical ability to perform kitchen duties including lifting up to 30 lbs
  • Commitment to maintaining safety and sanitation standards

Job Qualifications

  • Degree or training in culinary arts, hospitality management, or equivalent
  • 5+ years in a lead culinary role with experience in sports and entertainment or stadium premium catering
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, internal and external email communications, and purchasing procedures
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop and grow teams
  • Capable of producing consistent high-volume culinary products
  • Excellent listening and communication skills
  • Ability to manage business operations effectively
  • Exceptional knife skills and knowledge of varied culinary techniques
  • Ability to teach culinary skills effectively

Job Duties

  • Execute premium culinary operations including planning, ordering, menu creation, and execution of game day and event menus
  • Maintain the highest level of food quality, presentation, and consistency
  • Lead and ensure proper safety and sanitation of all kitchen and food service areas
  • Develop, implement, and communicate creative menu items adhering to company standards
  • Track and report financial goals and food costs while managing the culinary budget
  • Create and manage schedules for kitchen and gameday culinary staff within labor budgets
  • Assist in training, accountability, and scheduling of culinary staff
  • Collaborate with sales and operations teams to drive sales and execute events flawlessly
  • Foster and maintain positive morale within the kitchen and culinary team
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the Executive Chef
