Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or certified apprenticeship program completion
  • 3-5 years management experience in high-volume or contract food service venues
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively
  • Commitment to customer service
  • Flexibility to work extended hours including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Proven leadership ability

Job Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of management experience in high-volume venues or contract food service industry for sports and entertainment venues

Job Duties

  • Plan and develop menu items and recipes for concessions, catering, and premium locations
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness
  • Ensure the highest possible rating from the Health Department
  • Assist in training, safety, sanitation, and accident prevention controls within the kitchen
  • Develop and test recipes and techniques for food preparation and presentation
  • Ensure consistent food quality in presentation and preparation
  • Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing decisions, and inventory control
  • Ensure adherence to all recipes and preparation methods
  • Maintain kitchen equipment
  • Report and document hazardous conditions or unsafe practices
  • Contribute to menu specifications including pricing information
  • Work directly with the Executive Chef on food production and menu development
  • Conduct meetings and pre-shifts to update staff on daily goals and objectives
  • Perform other duties as assigned
