Job Requirements
- Culinary degree or at least three years of related management experience
- Previous experience in special events, hospitality, or catering
- Advanced knowledge of culinary principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Team collaboration skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree preferred
- Minimum three years of related management experience
- Experience in special events, hospitality, or catering
- Advanced knowledge of food service principles and practices
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport
- Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment
- Ability to work event-based hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Support the Executive Chef in overseeing the culinary team for daily operations
- Ensure culinary standards and techniques are followed for food preparation, production, presentation, and service
- Train and manage kitchen staff in best practice food production techniques
- Coach employees to achieve shared goals and recognize outstanding performance
- Maintain staff records including training and performance data
- Develop and sustain effective client and guest relationships
- Monitor and communicate culinary and ingredient trends
- Focus on margin improvement by analyzing performance metrics and inventory
- Ensure compliance with Aramark food quality, safety, and operational standards
- Manage equipment operation and maintenance
- Comply with all applicable safety, health, and labor regulations
