Job Requirements

  • Culinary degree or at least three years of related management experience
  • Previous experience in special events, hospitality, or catering
  • Advanced knowledge of culinary principles and practices
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Team collaboration skills
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary degree preferred
  • Minimum three years of related management experience
  • Experience in special events, hospitality, or catering
  • Advanced knowledge of food service principles and practices
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to maintain effective client and customer rapport
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative team environment
  • Ability to work event-based hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Support the Executive Chef in overseeing the culinary team for daily operations
  • Ensure culinary standards and techniques are followed for food preparation, production, presentation, and service
  • Train and manage kitchen staff in best practice food production techniques
  • Coach employees to achieve shared goals and recognize outstanding performance
  • Maintain staff records including training and performance data
  • Develop and sustain effective client and guest relationships
  • Monitor and communicate culinary and ingredient trends
  • Focus on margin improvement by analyzing performance metrics and inventory
  • Ensure compliance with Aramark food quality, safety, and operational standards
  • Manage equipment operation and maintenance
  • Comply with all applicable safety, health, and labor regulations
