Job Requirements
- More than two years of post high school education but less than a degree from a four year college
- Five to ten years of experience in related food and beverage management positions
- Ability to manage and lead kitchen staff effectively
- Strong organizational and budget management skills
- Ability to maintain sanitary and safe kitchen environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Physical ability to perform kitchen duties including lifting and standing for long periods
Job Qualifications
- More than two years of post high school education but less than a degree from a four year college
- Five to ten years of experience in a related position in food and beverage management
- Advanced knowledge of principles and practices within the food profession
- Strong oral and written communication skills
Job Duties
- Plan and manage the kitchen staff in procurement, production, preparation, and presentation of all food
- Recommend menu and procedural changes
- Recommend the budget and manage food and labor costs within approved budget constraints
- Perform all essential functions adhering to SOPs and food programs to ensure consistent quality
- Manage associates and managers including hiring, training, development, coaching, counseling, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions
- Monitor and control maintenance and sanitation of kitchen and related areas to ensure safety and compliance
- Develop and implement menus and back-up operations within corporate guidelines to improve revenue and profitability
