Job Requirements
- High school diploma required
- Culinary degree or certificate preferred
- Prior work experience in a restaurant or hospitality position required
- Ability to work 50-55 hours per week
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform fast-paced mobility
- ServSafe Food Certification required
- Availability to work 7 days a week including holidays
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests
Job Qualifications
- Leadership qualities including good listening skills and ability to motivate others
- Good judgment and ability to make independent decisions
- Excellent guest service skills
- Ability to understand and expedite guest requests
- Culinary degree or certificate preferred
- Prior restaurant or hospitality experience
Job Duties
- Manage and direct the work of BOH departments in the absence of the Chef
- Exercise discretion and independent judgment in implementing management policies
- Control food and labor costs by investigating variances and scheduling staff
- Ensure adherence to company policies including food safety and sanitation
- Perform job functions of other management personnel as needed
- Address guest complaints professionally
- Utilize company business systems such as POS, HRIS, and inventory management
