Job Requirements

  • High school diploma required
  • Culinary degree or certificate preferred
  • Prior work experience in a restaurant or hospitality position required
  • ServSafe food certification required
  • Ability to exert fast-paced mobility for entire shifts
  • Ability to lift, bend, kneel, stoop, and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Availability to work 50-55 hours per week
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, 7-day a week restaurant environment
  • Strong verbal communication and attentive listening skills
  • This is a full-time management/supervisory position subject to transfer to other locations

  • Leadership skills including effective communication and motivation
  • Good judgment and problem-solving ability
  • Excellent guest service skills
  • Ability to understand guest needs and expedite requests
  • Culinary degree or certificate preferred
  • Prior restaurant or hospitality experience
  • ServSafe food certification

Job Duties

  • Manage and direct work of BOH team members including hiring, scheduling, assigning, and directing work
  • Train, coach, counsel, and discipline BOH employees
  • Conduct regular meetings and performance reviews
  • Oversee inventory, variances, and ordering for BOH department
  • Ensure adherence to food safety, sanitation, allergy, OSHA, and employee handbook policies
  • Handle guest complaints and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Utilize company business systems such as POS, HRIS, scheduling, inventory and labor management systems
  • Assign staffing levels and manage employee breaks and cuts
  • Participate in interviewing, selecting, and hiring team members
  • Authorize overtime and enforce company recipes and approved product usage
