Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of leadership experience in the culinary field
  • Experience working in hotel culinary operations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of federal, state, and local health and safety regulations
  • Ability to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation

  • Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in professional kitchens
  • Strong background in hotel culinary environments
  • Proven expertise in banquet and multi-outlet restaurant operations
  • Ability to foster a positive, collaborative kitchen culture

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef in the direction and oversight of all culinary operations including preparation and production of hotel meals
  • Ensure food quality and presentation meet high standards
  • Comply with all safety, sanitation, and alcohol awareness regulations
  • Interact with guests and clients to monitor satisfaction and address issues
  • Develop team member performance through supervision, training, scheduling, and evaluations
  • Implement policies and procedures related to kitchen operations
  • Contribute to menu creation for special banquet themes and events
