Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum five years experience as executive sous chef or sous chef
  • Experience in banquet culinary either in hotel or catering environment
  • Ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards
  • Proficiency in food cost control and inventory management
  • Excellent communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum five years experience as an executive sous chef or sous chef

  • Ability to create and modify menus

Job Duties

  • Menu creation and modifications
  • Manage and train the kitchen brigade effectively to ensure a well-organized and motivated team
  • Ensure consistency in quality of dishes at all times
  • Ensure resources meet business needs through effective management of ordering and inventory
  • Support brand standards through the training and assessment of team members
  • Manage food cost controls to contribute to Food and Beverage revenue
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene and Health and Safety standards
