Job Requirements

  • associate's degree or equivalent experience
  • minimum of 2 years management experience
  • minimum of 1 year work experience in food or culinary services
  • supervisory culinary background in hotel banquets, country clubs or upscale restaurants
  • ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and holidays

  • minimum of 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts
  • supervisory culinary background within hotel banquets, country clubs or upscale restaurants
  • excellent mentoring, leadership and communication skills
  • ability to maintain the highest culinary standards
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including early mornings, late evenings, weekends and some holidays
  • coaching and employee supervision abilities
  • passion for food and innovation

Job Duties

  • be responsible for purchasing, menu/recipe compliance, inventory, food production forecasting, hands-on cooking
  • supervision of large-scale batch cooking
  • ensure Sodexo culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented
  • have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations
  • ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance
  • have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems
