Job Requirements

  • US work authorization is required
  • Professional culinary degree and/or 5+ years of senior level culinary leadership experience
  • Background in 4-5 star hotels preferred
  • Experience with Michelin/Beard level cuisine
  • Previous experience developing seasonal menus and farm-to-table initiatives
  • Ability to handle volume of 100+ covers per meal period in fine dining
  • Expertise in French-style, Japanese, modern American and global cuisines

Job Qualifications

  • Professional culinary degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of 5 years of senior-level culinary leadership experience
  • Experience in upscale, fine dining environments, preferably within 4-5 star hotels
  • Proven background working with Michelin or Beard-level cuisine
  • Skilled in French-style cooking with knowledge of Japanese, modern American, and global cuisines
  • Experience developing seasonal menus utilizing local produce
  • Strong leadership and kitchen management capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high culinary standards

Job Duties

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure optimal performance and quality
  • Support the Executive Chef in menu planning and development with a focus on seasonal, farm-to-table cuisine
  • Manage and mentor kitchen staff to uphold professional standards and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the culinary department
  • Coordinate with local growers and suppliers to source fresh, high-quality ingredients
  • Maintain consistency of food preparation and presentation to meet Michelin standards
  • Develop and implement training programs for culinary staff to enhance skills and productivity
