Job Requirements

  • Certification by a recognized culinary institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least three years experience in culinary management
  • ServSafe certified and current CFPM
  • Knowledgeable and experienced with State and CMS regulations
  • Experienced in use of online platforms such as ordering, inventory, email, financial portals
  • IDDSI knowledge
  • Ability to support buildings on the Rochester campus as needed
  • Strong leadership and communication skills

  • One year experience in a similar role preferred
  • Certified Dietary Manager certification (CDM) preferred

Job Duties

  • Planning, organizing, and supervising culinary operations for rehabilitation, long term care, retail and catering services
  • Planning menus based on various factors, such as market trends, customer preferences, and nutritional considerations
  • Reporting to the General Manager and collaborating with other culinary and department leaders regarding daily aspects of dining service
  • Directing and coordinating the work of kitchen staff to ensure oversight of regulatory and sanitation requirements
  • Supporting buildings on the Rochester campus as needed
  • Ensuring compliance with State and CMS regulations
  • Performing other tasks as assigned
