Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum five years culinary experience including two years in sous chef role
- Ability to lead and manage kitchen staff effectively
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Capability to manage culinary budget and labor scheduling
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations
Job Qualifications
- Minimum five years progressive culinary experience
- At least two years experience as a Sous Chef
- Proven ability to work calmly under pressure
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Experience managing culinary budgets and labor costs
- Knowledge of kitchen operations including purchasing and stewarding
- Commitment to high culinary standards and guest satisfaction
Job Duties
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations including production and prep
- Manage private parties and special events coordination
- Supervise stewarding, purchasing, and receiving activities
- Ensure menu items meet high-quality culinary standards
- Lead and mentor culinary staff to maintain professionalism and teamwork
- Manage culinary budget with emphasis on labor, scheduling, and overtime
- Maintain kitchen efficiency and guest satisfaction in the absence of the Executive Chef
