Job Requirements
- Minimum education requirement - associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum management experience - 2 years
- Minimum functional experience - 1 year work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc
- Proven experience in culinary leadership
- Strong operational knowledge of food safety and compliance
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience
- Proven culinary leadership experience preferably in a sous chef role
- Strong mentoring and team development skills
- Expertise in food safety and kitchen operational management
- Passion for scratch cooking and local sourcing
- Experience collaborating with clients in catering or food service environments
- Ability to lead and inspire culinary teams effectively
Job Duties
- Lead the kitchen by being hands-on during service and guiding the team
- Deliver last-mile cooking by elevating dishes with precision and creativity
- Inspire and mentor staff through training and coaching to uphold quality, presentation, and safety standards
- Collaborate with clients to provide seamless catering experiences and build trusted relationships
- Ensure food safety, sanitation, and consistent production excellence daily
- Manage kitchen operations focusing on compliance and team performance
- Support career growth and development within the culinary team
