- Culinary arts degree or equivalent professional culinary training
- minimum 3 years of professional kitchen experience
- one year of leadership experience
- ability to manage and lead kitchen staff
- knowledge of food safety regulations
- strong communication skills
- ability to work under pressure
- flexibility for shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- ServSafe certification within 12 months
- AllerTrain certification within 12 months

Job Duties
- Support culinary leadership in kitchen operations management
- manage food preparation and maintain kitchen standards
- supervise kitchen staff and provide direct coaching
- plan menus accommodating diverse dietary needs
- oversee food ordering and inventory management
- ensure food safety and sanitation compliance
- engage with students on allergen and dietary concerns
- participate in special events and catering
- review meal quality, portion control, and presentation
- manage kitchen budget and labor costs
- stay updated with culinary trends and dietary preferences
- perform other duties as assigned
