Job Requirements

  • minimum of a.s. degree or equivalent experience in culinary arts
  • experience in culinary management or kitchen supervision
  • proven ability to manage and control food costs
  • ability to plan and develop menus
  • strong organizational and leadership skills
  • excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • proficient in computer skills including microsoft office suite
  • servsafe certification preferred
  • willingness to engage in client satisfaction initiatives

Job Qualifications

  • a.s. or equivalent experience
  • some progressive culinary or kitchen management experience depending upon formal degree or training
  • catering experience a plus
  • high volume complex foodservice operations experience highly desirable
  • institutional and batch cooking experiences helpful
  • comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality production sanitation food cost controls and presentation
  • must be experienced with computers including microsoft office word excel and power point outlook e-mail and the internet
  • willing to participate in client satisfaction programs and activities
  • servsafe certified highly desirable

Job Duties

  • assist the executive chef with managing cost controls and control expenditures for the account
  • assist the executive chef with planning and creating menus
  • produce and execute catering events
  • roll out new culinary programs in conjunction with company marketing and culinary team
  • be responsible for proper culinary staff scheduling to meet labor forecast
  • oversee the outlets operations
