Job Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in kitchen management
  • Proven leadership and communication skills
  • Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of Japanese cuisine preferred
  • Ability to comply with health and safety regulations
  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar executive sous chef or kitchen management role
  • Passion for Japanese cuisine

Job Duties

  • Manage kitchen operations including staffing and training of line, temaki, and porter staff
  • Ensure top quality in menu offerings, dish preparation and presentation
  • Order and inventory kitchen products
  • Maintain food costs at or under budget
  • Ensure compliance with department of health standards and all regulations
  • Lead, motivate, and nurture the kitchen team
  • Oversee inventory controls and vendor relationships
