Job Requirements

  • 21 plus years of age
  • ability to acquire Salt Lake County Health Department Food Handler's Permit within 7 days of hire

  • Proven cooking and kitchen management experience
  • ability to lead and mentor kitchen staff
  • strong organizational and strategic thinking skills
  • knowledge of culinary standards and food safety regulations
  • effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Job Duties

  • Manage daily kitchen operations under executive chef supervision
  • prepare and cook authentic barbeque dishes
  • supervise all kitchen areas to ensure quality and safety standards
  • mentor and lead kitchen staff by example
  • empower staff to deliver excellent customer service
  • address and resolve guest complaints professionally
  • maintain operating budget and improve guest and staff satisfaction
