Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- six years experience in culinary or related professional area
- or two-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management or related major
- four years experience in culinary, food and beverage or related professional area
- ability to lead kitchen staff and operations
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- experience managing budgets and controlling costs

Job Duties
- Provides direction for all day-to-day culinary operations
- supervises and coordinates activities of food preparation staff

- ensures compliance with food handling and sanitation standards
- manages department expenses including food cost and supplies
- provides exceptional customer service by supporting and coaching staff
- manages employee performance including training and disciplinary procedures
