Job Requirements

- 2-4 years of experience as a Sous Chef
- knowledge of culinary techniques and food safety
- ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- strong organizational skills
- excellent communication abilities
- willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- Train all associates in the kitchen on job duties including plate presentation and display work
- write schedules and evaluate personnel
- maintain open communication between management and associates
- provide tools and equipment for associates
- take immediate action on kitchen problems
- participate in department, staff, and kitchen meetings
- ensure high-quality food preparation and timely service to outlets
- assist in establishing goals, standards, and objectives
- supervise kitchen staff and sanitation associates in the absence of the Executive Chef
- ensure timely submission of payroll hours
