Job Requirements

  • Culinary diploma from a recognized institution or higher
  • Minimum 10 years culinary experience
  • At least 2 years in a senior management role
  • Ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • Capability to lift, push, and pull at least 30 lbs
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions
  • Strong communication and computer literacy
  • Hands-on operational skills

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary diploma from a recognized institution or higher
  • At least 10 years of culinary experience with 2 years in a senior management position
  • Strong administration and organizational skills
  • Creative and innovative culinary approach
  • In-depth knowledge of food and beverage operations
  • Excellent communication and computer skills
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities

Job Duties

  • Assist the Executive Chef with overall kitchen operation
  • Supervise all kitchen areas to ensure consistent and high quality products
  • Interact with members to obtain feedback on product quality and service levels
  • Respond to and handle member's problems and complaints
  • Ensure accurate costing and portion control of recipes
  • Manage food stock levels and inventory
  • Maintain and ensure safe use of food preparation equipment
  • Administer budgets and adhere to financial guidelines
  • Coordinate with Food and Beverage Manager to develop marketing plans
  • Prepare banquet setups according to club standards
  • Monitor new food products and market trends
  • Initiate maintenance reports and follow up
  • Manage, coach, and counsel culinary associates
  • Supervise stewards and administrative tasks such as scheduling
  • Act as manager on duty as scheduled
  • Recruit and select culinary team members
