Job Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years cooking experience
  • minimum 2 years banquet chef experience preferred
  • minimum 2 years kitchen management experience
  • food and beverage service worker permit where applicable
  • ability to read, write, speak and understand English
  • meet minimum age requirement of jurisdiction
  • no employee will pose a direct threat to the health or safety of self or others

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervise and coordinate food preparation and kitchen staff
  • purchase and requisition ingredients, supplies, and equipment
  • participate in menu planning and portion control
  • manage kitchen stewardship to maintain cleanliness
  • ensure quality and preparation standards of cooked food
  • oversee inventory, storage, and distribution of food and supplies
  • control food costs and contribute to financial goal achievement
