Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior kitchen leadership experience
- Knowledge of OSHA and food handling regulations
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
- Capability to work varying schedules

- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods

Job Duties
- Supervise, guide and train kitchen associates to provide quality food production for restaurants and banquets focusing on timing, portions, food quality and sanitation/cleanliness
- Ensure appropriate inventory of supplies and materials needed for associates
- Establish, direct and review performance standards in food preparation, purchasing and production
- Manage kitchen to adhere to OSHA and food handling regulations
- Lead by example using positive and professional communication and fair treatment to staff members
- Ensure standards pertaining to storage, rotation, production, portions, quality and appearance are followed
- Ensure opening and closing procedures for Station Cooks I, II and III are completed
- Expedite food from front line during meal periods
- Check all food for right price, code amounts, servers’ name, food cost control and proper check ringing
- Assist in menu and recipe creation in cooperation with Executive Chef
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure overall hotel operation effectiveness
