Job Requirements
- Formal culinary or gastronomic education preferred but not required
- Valid ServSafe certification
- Previous Executive Sous Chef or Chef de Cuisine experience required
- Strong kitchen management and team leadership background
- 5-7 years progressive culinary experience in professional kitchens, preferably clubs or hotels
- Ability to multitask and lead teams in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Flexibility for occasional work outside of normal business hours
- Weekend and holiday availability required
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Job Qualifications

- Strong kitchen management and team leadership background
- 5-7 years progressive culinary experience in professional kitchens, preferably clubs or hotels
- Strong background in menu development, food costing, and kitchen operations
- Ability to multitask and lead teams in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Accountable and consistent
- Spanish language proficiency preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Support Executive Chef in leading, training, and mentoring culinary teams across all outlets
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and service
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef in creating and updating seasonal menus
- Supervise, train, and motivate kitchen staff to maintain high levels of performance and professionalism
- Ensure all food meets the club's standards for taste, presentation, and preparation
- Oversee inventory management and order supplies to maintain stock levels
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation regulations
- Interact with club members and guests to understand dining preferences
- Support strategic planning for culinary initiatives and events
- Oversee kitchen scheduling, station assignments, and line checks
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures
- Work closely with Front of House, Events, and Clubhouse teams for seamless dining experiences
- Model professionalism and teamwork
- Serve as acting Executive Chef in the absence of the Executive Chef
