Job Requirements

  • Must have extensive food and beverage operations background
  • Supervisory and management experience in hotel and/or casino environment
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent
  • Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed instructions
  • Ability to handle problems involving few variables
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Serve safe certified or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent motivational skills
  • Ability to physically perform tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in moderate noise and exposure to mechanical parts
  • Available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Able to work in constricting areas and tolerate noise and bright lights
  • Physically mobile with ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 100 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • Culinary graduate or certificate from college or technical school
  • Three to six years of related experience and/or training
  • Comprehensive knowledge of food and beverage operations
  • Intermediate computer skills
  • Serve Safe certification or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong motivational abilities

Job Duties

  • Manage food and beverage operations in a hotel or casino environment
  • Supervise and lead teams ensuring efficient day-to-day operations
  • Assist in preparation and management of food and beverage budget
  • Review and respond to profit and loss statements
  • Attend profit and loss review meetings to explain discrepancies
  • Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations including Serve Safe certification
  • Motivate staff and ensure excellent customer service standards are met
