Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in kitchen or culinary environment
  • strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • proficiency in scheduling and staff evaluation
  • capacity to maintain detailed kitchen records
  • excellent problem solving and decision making skills

Job Qualifications

  • Experience in kitchen management or culinary arts
  • strong leadership and communication skills
  • ability to train and develop kitchen staff
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • experience in menu planning and recipe standardization
  • ability to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • culinary degree preferred

Job Duties

  • Train all associates in the kitchen how to perform their job duties to the best of their abilities including plate presentation and display work
  • write schedules evaluate and direct all personnel
  • keep open verbal and written communication between management and associates
  • write and present disciplinary action as needed
  • provide associates with the tools and equipment they need to do their jobs
  • take immediate action on problems encountered in the kitchen
  • participate in monthly department meetings weekly staff meetings weekly kitchen meetings monthly kitchen inventory and the MOD program
