Job Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience including 3+ years in culinary roles
  • degree in Culinary Arts preferred
  • skilled in food preparation, menu planning, execution, and quality control
  • ability to manage food costs, portion control, and waste reduction
  • experience supervising and training kitchen staff in safety, sanitation, and production
  • strong focus on guest satisfaction
  • effective communication and leadership skills
  • availability to work full-time with some evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional culinary experience
  • 3+ years in culinary leadership roles
  • degree in Culinary Arts preferred
  • strong skills in food preparation, menu planning, and execution
  • experience managing food costs and budget adherence
  • ability to train and supervise kitchen staff
  • focus on guest satisfaction and interdepartmental cooperation

Job Duties

  • Oversee preparation of meals for guests
  • maintain food inventory and adjust production based on fresh ingredient availability
  • supervise and train hourly kitchen staff on safety, sanitation, and production practices
  • contribute to menu development and quality control
  • monitor and order kitchen supplies
  • manage food costs, portion control, and waste reduction
  • ensure guest satisfaction and adherence to Parkhurst Gold Standards
