Job Requirements

  • Able to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications as required by local gaming regulations
  • Able to train and manage a large staff
  • Able to stand for 10-14 hour shifts
  • Experience with opening and closing procedures
  • Able to produce accurate monthly inventories
  • Knowledge in food safety and sanitation
  • Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • College degree preferred
  • At least 7 years of foodservice experience
  • Minimum 4 years of management experience
  • Experience in high volume food sales
  • Knowledge of food and beverage standards, storeroom procedures, and cooking methods
  • Experience in multi-unit food and beverage or casino/hotel operations
  • Leadership and team building skills
  • Proficient in using POS and inventory systems
  • Bilingual preferred

Job Duties

  • Create and maintain an upbeat, productive, and educational environment
  • Project a positive attitude and visible respect for all employees and food
  • Provide ongoing training and continual improvement of product and workplace safety and sanitation
  • Give feedback and direction to the chef team to support their development
  • Participate as a lead member in weekly Food & Beverage management meetings
  • Work with management and front-line teams to increase guest counts and develop loyalty
  • Manage staffing including recruiting, hiring, and establishing appropriate staffing levels
