Job Requirements
- Able to train and manage a large staff
- Able to stand for 10-14 hour shifts
- Able to handle physical demands including sitting, bending, lifting, reaching, pulling/pushing, kneeling, squatting, and grasping
- Able to obtain and maintain necessary licenses and certifications per local gaming regulations
- Experience with opening and closing procedures
- Experience producing accurate monthly inventories
- Working knowledge of food handling and kitchen safety protocols
Job Qualifications
- College degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in multi-unit food and beverage or casino/hotel operations
- 7+ years of foodservice experience
- 4+ years management experience
- Experienced in high volume food sales
- Leadership and team-building skills
- Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Proficient in POS and inventory systems
- Bilingual preferred
Job Duties
- Create and maintain a productive and educational kitchen environment
- Project a positive attitude and respect for employees and food
- Provide ongoing training and development for the culinary team
- Collaborate with Food & Beverage management to drive guest counts and enhance service
- Assist in recruiting, hiring, and staffing for all kitchen positions
- Conduct bi-annual performance reviews and maintain employee documentation
- Develop and implement cost control measures and analyze kitchen financial performance
