Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 4 years experience in pastry chef or kitchen management roles
  • Experience leading teams of seven or more
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to handle kitchen operations independently
  • Ability to follow SOPs and quality control measures
  • Proficient with technology platforms including Sharepoint, Zenput, Outlook, and Teams
  • Physical ability to stand for up to 10 hours and lift 30 pounds
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays
  • Fluent in English
  • Valid work authorization

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum of 4 years pastry chef or equivalent kitchen management experience
  • Proven leadership managing teams of 7 or more
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to lead kitchen operations independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of SOPs and maintaining product quality
  • Organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills
  • Positive leadership style fostering team development
  • Proficiency in computers and mobile devices
  • Ability to work in standing position for long periods
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Fluent in English

Job Duties

  • Manage the overall kitchen operation in partnership with Store and Regional Managers
  • Supervise and direct kitchen workforce
  • Order raw goods and maintain relationships with suppliers
  • Oversee maintenance of kitchen equipment
  • Monitor product quality and execution of dough, donut decor, and preparation
  • Dictate production pace and priorities
  • Monitor and evaluate team member performance
  • Maintain cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards
  • Train, develop, and coach kitchen team members
  • Schedule all BOH staff and manage payroll approvals
  • Coordinate inventory management and cost controls
  • Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members
  • Utilize technology platforms for communication and production planning
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs and food safety regulations
