Job Requirements
- Must have a minimum of 7 years of pastry experience including at least 3 years in a leadership role
- degree or certification in Culinary Arts or Patisserie preferred
- food manager certification required
- ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and special events
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 7 years of pastry experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role within a luxury or Five-Star hotel or fine dining establishment
- degree or certification in Culinary Arts or Patisserie preferred
- food manager certification required
- proven expertise in French pastry, chocolate work, artisan breads, and plated dessert presentation
- strong organizational, leadership, and mentoring skills
- excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about innovation and guest satisfaction
Job Duties
- Direct all aspects of pastry production across restaurants, lounges, banquets, and in-room dining
- develop, test, and implement innovative dessert menus aligned with the hotel's luxury positioning
- oversee daily operations of the pastry kitchen, ensuring compliance with recipes, presentation, and quality standards
- collaborate with the Executive Chef and Food & Beverage Director on seasonal menu planning and special events
- maintain proper inventory, cost controls, and purchasing for all pastry ingredients and equipment
- lead daily briefings and ensure smooth coordination between culinary, stewarding, and service teams
- perform any other duties as assigned by management
