Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • four years experience in culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area
  • or two-year degree from accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major
  • two years experience in culinary or related professional area
  • ability to supervise and coordinate pastry operations
  • strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • knowledge of sanitation and food safety standards
  • ability to manage budgets and inventory
  • effective communication skills
  • commitment to guest satisfaction

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED

  • proven leadership and team management skills

  • Supervises and manages pastry staff
  • leads and coordinates pastry preparation activities
  • personally performs baking and decorating tasks
  • ensures consistent high quality and presentation of pastries
  • maintains sanitation and food handling standards
  • develops new pastry items and menu offerings
  • manages inventory, purchasing and budget control
