Job Qualifications
- Culinary degree specializing in pastry arts or equivalent
- Proven experience as an executive pastry chef or senior pastry chef in upscale dining establishments
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, baking, and dessert presentation
- Ability to develop creative and seasonal dessert menus
- Leadership skills with experience managing and inspiring a team
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and inventory management
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
Job Duties
- Oversee all pastry operations for multiple dining venues
- Develop and design innovative dessert menus
- Manage inventory and order supplies to ensure quality and availability
- Train, mentor, and lead the pastry team to excel in techniques and presentation
- Collaborate with executive chef and culinary staff to integrate pastries with overall menu concepts
- Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation
- Monitor quality control and consistent presentation of all pastry products
