Job Qualifications
- Minimum of five years experience in high volume, multi-unit culinary management
- Proven fine dining and pastry education background
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a kitchen team effectively
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage preparation techniques
- Familiarity with health department rules and regulations
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to communicate and collaborate across departments
- Creative baking and decorating skills
- Knowledge of latest industry trends and styles
Job Duties
- Craft and decorate desserts, baked goods, and pastries for multiple dining venues including five restaurant concepts, In Room Dining, Corporate & Social Events
- Lead the pastry section of the kitchen including hiring, training, and managing pastry staff
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef, Food & Beverage team, and Director of Banquets to develop and refine menus and recipes
- Maintain product control and food quality standards across all culinary offerings
- Implement daily food service operations including kitchen standards, timing, and quality control
- Stay current with industry trends to innovate and introduce authentic and on trend baked goods
- Communicate and collaborate regularly with culinary partners and consultants for operational and menu changes
