Job Requirements

  • Culinary or pastry degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Proven experience in luxury pastry leadership in a high volume hotel or resort
  • Ability to lead and develop a team effectively
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied schedules
  • Valid work authorization in the U.S.
  • Ability to work the hours necessary to fulfill managerial responsibilities without overtime pay

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience in luxury pastry leadership within a high volume hotel or resort
  • Mastery of plated desserts, viennoiserie, breads, chocolate work, amenities, and showpieces
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train and develop a cohesive team
  • Commitment to organization, food safety, and excellence in execution
  • Culinary or pastry degree or equivalent professional experience

Job Duties

  • Lead the pastry and bakeshop team in producing desserts, viennoiserie, breads, amenities, and showpieces
  • Design and execute seasonal menus focused on luxury and precision for all resort outlets
  • Maintain exceptional quality, consistency, and adherence to food safety standards
  • Oversee production schedules, workflow, ordering, and inventory management
  • Develop, mentor, and inspire a high-performing pastry team
  • Collaborate with culinary and food and beverage departments to create memorable guest experiences
  • Support resort-wide events, tastings, VIP amenities, and special activations
