Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- minimum of 2 years of sales experience in a 4/5-star resort preferred
- Delphi and Salesforce knowledge required
- proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
- effective interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- excellent decision-making ability and attention to detail

Job Qualifications
- Working knowledge of group market and related meetings industry
- basic hotel product knowledge including staffing, operations, safety, security, terminology and hotel policies
- understanding of hotel structure and departmental interactions
- knowledge of various meeting room setup styles
- capability in processing data, mathematical computations and financial forecasting
- ability to complete contracts in compliance with checklists and hotel policies
- skill in organizing resources and prioritizing tasks
- ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously
- proficiency in information research, analysis and evaluation
- advanced verbal and written communication skills
- ability to work with diverse constituencies
Job Duties
- Represent the hotel by soliciting, responding to and negotiating with companies and persons requiring group accommodations under 50 guest rooms per night with or without meeting space
- specialize in the value propositions of small, high-end events with special focus on the Yacht Club and Beach Club
- manage high volume bookings while understanding the needs of luxury groups with short-term booking windows
- create a luxury, customer focused sales and resort environment in all written and verbal communications
- meet with clients on property and collaborate with sales colleagues on shared bookings
- develop and manage accounts to understand key contacts and booking history
- conduct detailed site visits and customer events following resort SOPs and guidelines
- prepare proposals and contracts advising availability and pricing
- develop sales forecasts and reports
- support sales leadership to manage team of coordinators and assistants
- own the customer journey from assigned territory to ensure a five-star sales and service experience
- adhere to all SOPs for department and resort
- remain flexible in a demanding, sales focused environment
- express desire to continually learn and develop
