Job Requirements
- Minimum one year of hospitality industry experience
- Experience in catering sales
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Delphi
- Strong sales and negotiation skills
- Knowledge of hotel operations and market landscape
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Availability to comply with attendance rules
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience in hospitality with focus on catering sales
- Minimum one year experience within the hospitality industry
- Experience at a similar size and quality hotel
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Delphi
- Knowledge of sales skills, revenue management, training, and motivation
- Understanding of hotel features, market competitors, and operations
- Ability to execute effective action plans
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under time constraints and meet deadlines
Job Duties
- Understand the importance of raising the meeting planner evaluation scores and implement effective methods to ensure exceeding meeting planner satisfaction
- Optimize room rental charges
- Consistently participate in the re-booking of repeat business by having a track record of long-term client relationships
- Actively participate in industry related organizations such as NACE and MPI
- Demonstrate strong sales techniques including closing and negotiating skills
- Conduct hotel site inspections and client presentations
- Collaborate closely with banquet department on operations and event execution
